This is an evening shot of the Old Town of Edinburgh just as the city lights start to come on. It's an HDR and another example of some of my earliest work with landscapes and HDR. I think if I were to reproduce this image I would go with a brighter exposure and perhaps wait just a little longer to see lights come one in more of the building windows.
So this is what I have been spending my sunday on. Being introspective. I've been spending a lot of time recently reexamining my old photos, thinking about how I shot them, what I missed and what I learned from it then .. and whether those lessons have stuck with me. Sometimes examining your old work from several years ago can give you new perspectives. I have learned a lot since I've taken this shot, so perhaps its time to look into recreating it and seeing how different the photo will turn out now from then.. Unfortunately its been really overcast the last few days so I don't know when I will be able to recreate this shot. But whne I do I will post the results on steemit.
Thanks for Looking.
