To show the country's breathtaking diversity of landscapes, people, flora and fauna, it requires more than one post. I have been traveling throughout Indonesia, in a journey that has taken me to Bali, Lombok, Yogyakarta, and Bukit Lawang. Going from South Indonesia, Central Java, and North Sumatra. Hereby part 3 of my Indonesia photo series, featuring the photos I took from wild orangutans.
Contrary to popular belief, Orangutans are pretty chill (one of the guys showcased here was just yawning a bit!). I saw around 10 orangutans in 2 days of trekking, and they loved the attention. They are pretty intelligent animals and quite playful too.
As always, all pictures in the photography section are mine and taken with my camera, a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.
