EOS just finished up the first of it's planned 351 ICOs. The first ICO was the biggest, accounting for 20% of the total EOS tokens sold. The allocation by ICO is below:
- ICO #1: 200 Million Tokens (5 days)
- ICO #2 to 351: 700 Million Tokens (1 day/2 Million Tokens each ICO)
- Total sold at ICOs: 900 Million Tokens
- Developer's Fund: 100 Million Tokens
- Total EOS Tokens: 1 Billion Tokens
Results of 1st ICO (5 day)
- 200 Million Tokens Sold
- 651,902.18 Ether Raised
- $176 Million Raised
- Price Per Ether = 0.0032595
- Price Per USD (@ $270 Ether price) = 88 cents
- EOS Market Cap = $880 Million (based on ICO...not exchanges)
Current Price on Exchanges
The largest exchange I could find EOS on is Bitfinex. The price has been rising the past few hours as people figure out how to get their EOS tokens in their wallet. The current price per EOS token is:- 0.0054 Ether
- $1.40 USD
This represents a 60% premium if you are able to sell at the USD or Ether price above. Not bad at all. I was expecting no premium at all. Kudos to those who bought at ICO and sold for a premium. This also would result in a $1.4 Billion Market Cap!!

How did my prediction work out?
You can read the post on my trading strategy pre-ICO here.. Some of my predictions were:- Market Cap after 5 day ICO prediction: $1 Billion to $1.5 Billion
- Actual market cap was $880 Million based on ICO, $1.4 Billion based on Bitfinex price...Ether price didn't go up as much as I thought, but that's in the prediction ball park.
- EOS token price per Ether prediction: 0.003
- Actual price per ether: 0.00326 Nailed it!

- Miserable fail! Ether is struggling. I will do some research on some of the previous ICOs and what they have done with their Ether holdings. Maybe they sold big chunks of the Ether they raised?
