Anyways I already made a post introducing myself but I didn't really go too deep into myself and my experiences with cryptocurrency in the real world, so heres a part 2.
Being only 18, a lot of my friends and peers don't really understand crypto. At a really young age I found interest in something that many people my age were not interested in, cryptocorrency. Growing up I used to be obsessed with shoes, and video games. As a teenager I would blow so much of my money at the mall. Until I discovered cryptocurrency, I became obsessed with investing so much of my money into it. Almost every penny of my part time job paycheck literally goes into crypto. So whenever id go to the mall with friends or hang out, I never really spent much of my money because of this. I would always be checking my phone looking at the Bitcoin price and checking coinbase.
When my friends asked what I was doing I told them I was looking at the price of Bitcoin, which they looked at me with a wierd face saying "what the fuck is a bitcoin lol?". Id describe it to them and they never really understood cryptocurrency (their loss). I would also post on a lot of my social medias just retweets from other crypto pages (using my personal account which a lot of people from school followed), and also make crypto videos showing my portfolio and news on the cryptocurrency world), you'd think this wasn't a big deal but it's funny because whenever I made a social media post or Youtube video id get comments from people at my school calling me a nerd and just dumb stuff like that. I never really let it phase me because I knew that I was making money and I found a lot of interest in it. In the beginning Id be excited whenever I made like $10 from an alt coin and i'd tell my friends "yo guys i just made 10 bucks doing nothing!" and i'd always get a negative comment like "wow $10 thats so much, i make way more than that at work".
I thought it was way cooler than a lot of things my friends were doing and kids in my school were doing. But yeah, its kind of funny because it's their loss, ive introduced so many people to the crypto industry but they never took me seriously lol, but now im making a lot of extra money on the side. :)
