Hello to Splinterlands Fam,

So my journey on splinterlands has started thanks to Hive account@bravetofu, my mentor in this game. Let me mention that if you join the splinterlands.com game through bravetofu, it will be easy and smooth onboarding for you in the game. He explains everything about the game that you need to know and of course answers every question that you ask.

Hive account@forkyishere is my mentor on Hive and Hive account@bravetofu for splinterlands. I got assistance on every step so that I follow the right process. I was very confused in the beginning about the key management so before starting on Splinterland I wanted to make sure that nothing went wrong. Thanks to my mentor who has been very helpful and easily explained things so that I could grab it faster.

I tried to learn more about the game on the Internet and it is really interesting to see that this gaming project is a big one. It is popular on social media and has an active community.

I was in discussion with BRAVETOFU for a few days on X to know more and see if its my cup of tea. Thousands of projects are available in the Crypto market so it is not easy to choose one. I always do my homework before I enter something. I followed the same approach here also before joining the splinterlands game. He never pushed me to join the game instead he was more interested in explaining things to me about what should I do and the reasons behind it.

I was required to signup under him and because I had a hive account already it was not allowing me to do this. I created a new account finpulse9 for gaming only and finpulse will remain my blog posting account.

After account registration, I did the login and thereafter got the option to buy a spellbook. This is required for every player to become part of the game where your battles can earn some rewards. Without a spellbook, you can play only practice battles.

I share the process I followed step by step so that it can be helpful for any new player in the game who has not even registered with the splinterlands.

There are options to choose multiple payment options including multiple crypto coins. I chose HIVE as suggested by my mentor and it was an easy process. Another GOOD thing is NO FEE. I love this chain with ZERO fees for transactions.

There are 2 options and I am familiar with the keychain app. I have not used other options I proceed with the keychain and its easy to use. This is the first app I was introduced to after account creation.

Authorised the payment transaction and it was a success in a matter of few seconds. So all the transactions are settled in real time. This is another crazy part of this blockchain network.

Post payment I got the page to choose my account (as I already shared about it).

There are some welcome benefits which you can see on the page below. These are provided by these splinterlands games. I also got 3500 credits and this is like in-game currency. I am still yet to explore the best of these currency coins.

I got an email for the verification which I did and I think it is a good initiative to reduce some automated service abusing the system.

I got this on the email and here I got the option to get my game account keys.

This is like a welcome page for me where I can see a couple of options including the tutorial watch playing a match and unlocking the spellbook. Only one option is tick but later I did all.

I played two battles and won so I guess I get this reward for completing some sort of quest or winning both the battles which I'm not sure about.

This is the gift I got from my mentor Hive account@bravetofu and I'll be opening these packs later. He asked me to open these bags but I still don't know what would be the right approach to do this but we'll figure out and open them all.

Its a very active community on X and the way they welcome new players is awesome. I am sure that this will bring more people on board to the game. The gaming community is supportive and they help new people so we can expect it to grow more.

That's all for the day and I am going to spend more time exploring the game. Apart from this, I will try to find out some blogs that can be good for me to learn. I will also try to play more battles and I have got some cards delegated by my mentor. I will need to learn how can I use those cards in the best way possible.
