Last Friday, I made a batch of Passata (updated recipe on my blog in the next day or so). Sometimes it's necessary to taste and test the quality. So last evening's supper was homemade pasta with homemade Passata with roasted red pepper topped with some really sharp, mature cheddar and fresh basil.
The antipasti was a simple salad of baby beetroot on a bed freshly picked rocket (arugula) with knobs of accidentally-made yoghurt cheese, black pepper and olive oil.
