Have you ever got to the end of the day and just wanted comfort food? With tomato sauce?
That was me, last evening. This was a little of how the day unfolded.
There is a bakkie (pick up) in that cloud of smoke. It sounded as though it would take off or explode. I did have a little worry. It did neither and departed under its own steam. Much the worse for wear, I am sure.
For the third day in a row, the weather man lied. It wasn't sunny. It was another cool cold, grey day.
Princess Pearli spent the day mostly on the desk (and from time to time on my lap) and Rambo lay in wait for The Husband.
So Thursday's supper indulgence with a salad as a nod to vegetables and a bit of healthy balance, was fried potatoes and egg.
And, yes, with lashings of tomato ketchup and freshly ground black pepper.
