Aloha Steemit!
I am a 27 year old average guy that lives in the land of freedom. This freedom that I like so much seems to have disappeared since I joined Steemit in December. I have been discouraged to speak my mind in my main account because some social justice warriors have flagged me for disagreement of thought, how pathetic is that?
I saw my 61 reputation go down to the 50s because a guy with a lot of (Steem) Power didn't like my opinions. Therefore here I am, joining the alt club in order to have a place where I can say what I think without being scared about my reputation.
I think that the Steem Blockchain is a cool project, a great idea but very poorly executed. I also think that the Steem creators were in the clouds when they created Steem Blockchain. Because for Steem to succeed we need to live in a world with nice humans that don't think just in themselves. That is clearly not the case, humans only care about their own pockets and they will destroy a cool Platform to enrich themselves if necessary.
Abusers left and right. Circlejerkers, sockpuppets and more. Who is curating content supporting the content creators (with a nice chunk of SP) without an arrangement under the table? Not many. Who is upvoting shitposts on a daily basis in order to get their cut? WAY too many.
I think that Steem could succeed but in another planet, one without humans. Humans are way too rotten and greedy to see such a nice project do well.
