Sky Streak Sunset Bangkok Thailand goldenhourphotography

I’ve been posting strange sky streaks I saw off my balcony in Bangkok Thailand sunsets. I think this one qualifies as strange.

I’ve darkened it a bit and increased the contrast to show more detail, but the glow of this thing got me up from inside my room when it appeared. The color of the streak was quite intense. I see a bit of another streak coming out of the top right too.

I have a few more Bangkok sky streaks coming in future posts. They happened night after night for about two weeks last fall and then disappeared.

They seem to come from below and I do not how they would happen. I am not a meteorologist! What do you think does this? Has this ever happened where you live?

I’m using a Canon ELPH160 point and shoot camera.
