Venezuelans are all the rage right now, and not just because of baseball—we’re making our mark in every sport 🎉.
A few days ago, I went to my favorite team’s basketball game, and this outfit is especially meaningful to me for the following reason:

My team jersey has been with me for about 10 years. I bought it during a season when Marinos won the championship, and it was the jersey from that era. After that season, I stopped going to the games; then the pandemic hit, the team moved to another state, and with all that and more, I put it away in my closet—but always hoping to wear it again.
This part makes me laugh because I remember that I’d often take it out, try it on, put it away, move it around, wash it, put it away again, but I never wanted to get rid of it. And today, 10 years after our team is playing at its home stadium again, I “dusted it off” and put it on once more.
I was surprised by how high-quality it is—the royal blue color is still flawless—and honestly, it’s very comfortable; even though I was cheering and sweating throughout the whole game, the shirt wasn’t a problem because I felt cool 💯.
Mi camisa del equipo tiene unos 10 años conmigo. La compré para una temporada donde Marinos fue campeón y era la camisa de la época. Después de esa presentación, ya no fui a los juegos, vino la pandemia, al equipo lo mudaron de estado y de tantos etcéteras, la guardé en mi armario, pero siempre con la esperanza de volver a usarla. Este punto me da risa porque recuerdo que muchas veces la sacaba, me la medía, la guardaba, la movía de lugar, la lavaba, la volvía a guardar, pero nunca me quise deshacer de ella y hoy, 10 años después de que nuestro equipo vuelve a jugar en su estadio, la "desempolvé" y me la puse nuevamente. Me sorprendió que es de una excelente calidad porque se mantiene con ese azul rey impecable y la verdad es que es muy cómoda; durante todo el juego que grité y sudé, la camisa no fue un problema porque me sentía fresca 💯.
Another standout piece that day was my flower-adorned cap. Since last year, I’d noticed that caps were in style, but I didn’t want just any old cap or a branded one; I was focused on something authentic and original. I wanted one of those new styles with braids in the back so you can adjust the fit to your desired height, and the flower detail is absolutely the best.
I realized that I LOVE wearing caps and I never miss a chance to put them on and match them with my outfit. That afternoon, I think I caused quite a stir because I was interviewed a lot, and I even won a prize.
When I went into the bathroom, I noticed that a lot of girls were also wearing caps, but none like mine 😎. So caps are here to stay, and I love that, for the first time, I’m following a trend 😍.
Otro elemento que resaltó ese día fue mi gorra de flores. Desde el año pasado, noté que las gorras estaban de moda, pero no quería una cualquiera o de marca; mi enfoque estaba en lo auténtico y original. Quería que fuera de estas nuevas que tienen unas trenzas detrás para colocar nuestro cabello a la altura que queremos y el detalle de las flores es lo máximo. Me di cuenta de que ¡ME ENCANTA! usar gorras y no pierdo la oportunidad de ponérmelas y combinarlas con mi outfit. Esa tarde creo que causó sensación porque me entrevistaron mucho, e incluso me gané un premio.
Al entrar al baño, me di cuenta de que muchas chicas también llevaban gorras, pero ninguna como la mía 😎. Así que las gorras llegaron para quedarse y me gusta que, por primera vez, estoy siguiendo tendencia 😍.
I finished off the look with a pair of super-comfortable jeans—I never miss a chance to wear them because I feel they look great on me—and my trusty sneakers; after all, I was heading to a sports event and needed to dress the part so I could cheer on my team. By the way, I realized I need to replace those sneakers this year. Goals for 2026!
I felt really happy and confident in my outfit, so that night, I triumphed and the team triumphed! 😊💯🏆.
El look lo complementé con unos jeans supercómodos, de los cuales no desaprovecho la oportunidad de ponérmelos porque siento que se me ve bien, y mis zapatos deportivos confiables; al final, iba a un evento deportivo y debía ir acorde para brincar por mi equipo. Ojo, me di cuenta de que debo cambiar este año los zapatos. ¡Metas 2026! Yo me sentí muy feliz y segura con mi look, así que esa noche ¡triunfé yo y triunfó el equipo! 😊💯🏆.
