When I visited my cousin in Krems some time ago I was hiking at the vinyard together with her, It was a really nice hike with a great view over the danube and the Wachau. The town of Krems was also looking nice from up there. I really love when the weather is getting warmer and hiking in the evening is a pleasure instead of a cold freezing burdon. Smelling the warm air and soil up there also keeps my mind dreaming of nice summer days with a nice fermeted grape juice in my hands. :-)
Since I was working near my cousins home place it was only a matter of a few kilometers for me to pay her a visit.

There are often religious buildings like churches and cementaries near the vinyards. Picture: Florian Glechner
Vinyards in front of the village can look very romantic
