In May 2016 i visited the Giselawarte (Gis) near Linz for taking some pictures of stars at night. It was already a pretty dark night on a no moon day and we dicided to take some pictures of stars. Therefor we visited the Tower at the Gis for some pictures of our stars at night. Me and several friends from our photgraphic meetup met at the top of the hill and took these picturs at night. It was one of my first experiences with star photography. On this type of photography you need to expose a long time but still not o long so you don't create star trails that can be created when you expose too long. Becaus of the earth turning around itself you create star trails if you expose the night sky for too long. I am sure i will do a star trail picture in the near future, when the waeather gets warmer again and it's not so cold at night anymore.
