This year in May I visited the wetlands of the Inn River together with Stefan for some wildlife photography. I mainly took pictures of birds that I found there during this trip but this Poppy flower on the edge of a wheat field also caught my attention. Fortunately I also had my Macro lens with me, so I tried some shots of this beautiful flower. Most of the remaining time we used to get some nice pictures of birds because this was the main reason we visited this region of Austria, and I am already looking forward to next year in Spring when I will visit this place again.
We saw a lot of birds there some of them pretty shy and to far away for taking pictures but other close enough to take some nice shots of them. I hope next Time we will have the luck to take some pictures of the white-tailed eagle that can also be seen there. It is a very rare guest but a friend of us told us a place where they hunt, this is why I am really excited to see this place next year.
