Since 2009 I have worked here in Christchurch New Zealand as a dial a driver or personal driver. In 2014 I started my own business called Your Safe Driver Ltd . Being a dial a driver is as it sounds, people use the service to be driven in their private vehicles because they are not legally permitted to operate their vehicle because they have been drinking, post dentist or have lost their licence.
As a personal driver I have to work with a follow car driver who follows me when I am driving customers to their homes. Some jobs are under 10Km. This is when I use the electric longboard which allows me to work on my own and make 100% profit.
My process is to drive to the address or final drop off point of the customer. Suit up in elbow and knee pads, helmet, reflector vest and lights.
Ride to the customer pickup point. Put my board into their vehicle, drive them to their home providing a trustworthy friendly customer experience. Cash or Eftpos transaction and then re join my vehicle and continue to the next job. Getting Paid To Ride.
Last night I managed 2 jobs at 2km and 6Km making $90.00, 100% profit
