For those of you who don't know what BTCP is, it's a fork of BTC by the devs of ZCL.
The fork will be 1:1 of any ZCL or BTC holders, on this date.
This announcement took place on the live stream that is still commencing, from the first BTCP conference.

What they're doing differently, is adding ZSNARKS 0 knowledge protocol to BTC.

The branding for this coin is huge, seeing as the market sentiment in crypto has been in privacy coins. With the ZSnarks protocol, making faster transactions combined with the chain everyone is used to, and a solid dev team. I'm watching to see where this goes, especially since BTC has been bleeding badly lately.
