Para esta ocasión de mitad de semana, nos han invitado con un tema bastante polémico como los es hablar del Feminismo y el Machismo. Por eso, estoy uniéndome a la iniciativa por demás tan interesante y puedes conocer tú también las condiciones y detalles de Contra-Reloj, si accedes a leer esta publicación.

For this mid-week occasion, we have been invited with a very controversial topic such as Feminism and Machismo. That's why I'm joining this very interesting initiative and you can also know the conditions and details of Contra-Reloj, if you access read this publication.

Palabreando: Feminismo - Machismo

Me causo mucha gracia que al querer escribir sobre este tema del Feminismo y el Machismo, me encontré el revuelo en las redes sociales con la modelo y actriz Barbie Abreu, quien en su cuenta de Instagram publico un polémico vídeo que desato las reacciones más diversas en todo el ambiente de redes sociales en Venezuela. En el vídeo, la muy bella modelo, habla sobre la sumisión y obediencia que le debe tener la mujer a su esposo y que esto está ordenado por Dios, su papel de engendradora de hijos y la dedicación a la crianza de los mismos, así como de otros conceptos enfocados a ciertos valores de nuestra sociedad en el ámbito familiar.

Debo decir que discrepo casi en todo lo que expresa la hermosa modelo en su vídeo, ya que le otorga cierta preponderancia de autoritarismo al papel del hombre y que rayan en este concepto del machismo. No por nada se ha tildado su mensaje, como un ataque y desestimación a los logros hasta ahora alcanzados por la mujer en cuanto a temas de igualdad con el hombre. Aunque, no le niego su aporte al valor e importancia de la familia como base fundamental de la sociedad. Claro esta, con el añadido de que si bien el hombre puede ocupar un lugar como jefe de cabeza de la familia, es fundamental que estos roles, los del hombre y la mujer, sea equivalentes en cuanto a muchos aspectos del convivir familiar.

Particularmente considero que los extremos son contraproducentes y creo que lo mejor en este tema de valorar los papeles e importancia del hombre y la mujer, deben partir del reconocimiento mutuo y como iguales, pero con el respeto y las consideraciones debidas a cada uno. La mejor manera, pienso yo, de poder compensar este tema tan delicado, es incluir el amor en cada una de las expresiones que nos toque compartir con el sexo contrario. Se trata de entender que el otro es un ser humano y, cuando se trata de relaciones más cercanas e intimas, colocar siempre en primer lugar, el amor como base para relacionarse.

Siempre he admirado la inmensa capacidad de acción que tienen las mujeres. Es maravilloso saber que tanta creatividad, genialidad, fuerza, impulso, logros, triunfos y valor estén siempre adornados con mucha delicadeza, dulzura, belleza y sutileza. Se dice que las mujeres son muy capaces de hacer todo lo que hace un hombre, pero con tacones. Y si de buscar casos que comprueben esta afirmación se trata, toda nuestra Blockchain no alcanzaría para mostrarlos y expresarlos todos. Es por ello amigo caballero, si te consideras muy macho y superior a la mujer, prueba demostrarlo usando tacones.

Talking about: Feminism - Machismo

I was very amused that when I wanted to write about Feminism and Machismo, I found the commotion in the social networks with the model and actress Barbie Abreu, who posted a controversial video on her Instagram account that sparked the most diverse reactions in all social networks in Venezuela. In the video, the very beautiful model talks about the submission and obedience that a woman should have to her husband and that this is ordained by God, her role as a begetter of children and dedication to raising them, as well as other concepts focused on certain values of our society in the family environment.

I must say that I disagree with almost everything expressed by the beautiful model in her video, as it gives a certain preponderance of authoritarianism to the role of men and bordering on this concept of machismo. Not for nothing has her message been labeled as an attack and dismissal of the achievements so far made by women in terms of equality with men. Although, I do not deny her contribution to the value and importance of the family as the fundamental basis of society. Of course, with the addition that although the man can occupy a place as head of the family, it is essential that these roles, those of men and women, be equivalent in many aspects of family life.

I particularly consider that extremes are counterproductive and I believe that the best way to value the roles and importance of men and women should be based on mutual recognition and as equals, but with the respect and consideration due to each one. The best way, I think, to compensate for this delicate issue, is to include love in each of the expressions that we share with the opposite sex. It is a matter of understanding that the other is a human being and, when it comes to closer and more intimate relationships, to always place love as the basis for relating to each other in the first place.

I have always admired the immense capacity for action that women have. It is wonderful to know that so much creativity, genius, strength, drive, achievement, triumph and courage are always adorned with so much delicacy, gentleness, beauty and subtlety. It is said that women are very capable of doing everything a man does, but in heels. And if we are looking for cases that prove this statement, all our Blockchain would not be enough to show and express them all. That's why, my gentleman friend, if you consider yourself very macho and superior to women, try to prove it by wearing heels.
