The image that you are watching was created mixing a photo of mine with a digital sculpture (of mine again :) ).
The digital sculpture was modeled in Cinema 4d and Zbrush and then rendered with RedShift Render,a GPU
render engine with an incredible speed.
The project is to "populate"the most important street of Alberobello (little town in the south of Italy famous for its trulli).
There was a lot of work for "synchronize"the real photo with the virtual sculpture:I created deep of field for a natural and gradual fusion between background and foreground. It was also difficult to have a good projection of shadows along the street but I am really happy of the final result,a sort of weathered steel.
This summer I exhibited these artworks in an art gallery in Alberobello. Many visitors thought that my sculptures were real....I hope sooner or later to bring them to life with real metal, bronze and steel.Maybe if I am lucky and a lots of my posts will be viral with thousands of upvotes I can earn a part of money for the project implementation.I will keep the fingers crossed!More artworks will be post in the next days.
Have a nice day and thanks for watching. And for upvotes of course :) !
