Again we return to One Piece and this time the anime episode 1130 adapted one of the most awaited chapters of the manga by many people and finally, after its mention a few episodes ago we are shown, albeit a few small crumbs the beginning of the incident of God Valley, where Roger and Garp had to join forces to defeat Rocks, but this event due to everything that happened there was erased from the story, so many of the things that just showed us were left in nothing and I hope that a future clarify what really happened there, because as always happens in One Piece, things are not always as they tell us in principle and we hide many things to later reveal it to us. Episode 1130 of the anime adapts in its entirety chapter 1096 of the manga. The episode starts with some POV scenes of Kuma showing us part of his life before being taken to God Valley, so we see how his mother says goodbye to him, his father telling him that his mother died and we see from his perspective how he observes the murder on his behalf. These moments don't happen in the manga, so it's quite an interesting and sad addition to see how this so mistreated character has been living since he has been taken as a slave.
After these scenes, the episode starts exactly like the manga, we find ourselves in God Valley and the slave hunt begins, being this just a hint of how cruel and morbid the world government can be, especially the Heavenly Dragons. Kong, the former supreme commander of the navy contacts a young Garp and tells him that he must go to God Valley, as Roger will also go, so Garp without wasting any more time goes to that place. Many pirates around the world have been informed about what is going to happen on the island, but especially about the prizes that will be awarded to the person who kills the most slaves. This information has been leaked to the outside world by Ginny, a very important character for the development of Kuma and basically she was the one who started this event.
The hunt begins, many begin to die, old, adults, young and even mothers with their babies in their arms, it is a massacre, but one of the most powerful and chaotic pirate gangs in the history of One Piece, “commanded” by Rocks, arrives to the island: White Beard, Kaido, Big Mom, Shiki, Stussy, Gloriosa (former empress of the island of women) and other characters that we previously saw as zombies in the arc of Thiller Bark. All of them start to cause chaos on the island and later Roger, Rayleigh, Gaban and the whole gang arrive. All these pirates are looking for the same thing: to take possession of the prizes, which are very powerful devil fruits, one of them would be the very fruit of Kaido, which in the Wano arc, Big Mom mentioned that she herself was the one who gave that fruit to Kaido and the other fruit is the one that Kuma would later consume.
The arrival of these pirates is too much for the navy, so they need help and it would not take long to arrive, since Garp and the other marines arrive to help them. This would cause an all-out fight where the most powerful characters of their generation would be facing each other and which would later provoke the event of the God Valley Incident, which was erased from history. I think many of us were expecting Toei to add some extra scenes of these pirates facing each other, as this is something that many of us who had read the manga chapter at the time were expecting, but it wasn't, so I'm sure Oda is saving this event to be able to show it in the future, as surely something happened on that island that will be of great importance later on.
Taking advantage of the chaos caused by the pirates, Kuma and Ivankov go in search of the fruits, they have them in their hands but Big Mom appears, attacks Ivankov and snatches the fruit that he would later deliver to Kaido. Kuma in such a situation eats the fruit he has in his hands, with which he would later save more than 500 slaves from the massacre and chaos of the island. This would be the event that would put an end to Rocks, or at least that is what is known, but since so many things happened on that island, as I said before, everything that happened in that place was erased from the records.
The anime did an excellent adaptation of the manga, the rhythm was pretty good, maybe not as good as previous episodes, but it was nice to watch, plus seeing such iconic characters and practically legends of the One Piece universe in their best moments, was something quite satisfying to see, even if we haven't seen any of the fights. Kuma and Ginny started living together, while Ivankov went on adventurous quests and would later meet Dragon. The episode ends exactly like the manga, with Kuma and Ginny finally being happy and sharing dinner. A beautiful scene, but for those of us who have already read the manga, we know that happiness doesn't last forever.
Nuevamente volvemos con One Piece y esta vez el episodio 1130 del anime adaptó uno de los capítulos del manga más esperados por muchas personas y es que por fin, luego de su mención hace algunos episodios se nos muestra, aunque sea unas pequeñas migajas el inicio del incidente de God Valley, donde Roger y Garp tuvieron que unir fuerzas para derrotar a Rocks, pero este acontecimiento debido a todo lo que sucedió ahí fue borrado de la historia, por lo que muchas de las cosas que apenas nos mostraron quedaron en la nada y espero que un futuro aclaren que sucedió ahí realmente, ya que como siempre pasa en One Piece, las cosas no siempre son como nos las dicen en principio y nos ocultan muchas cosas para posteriormente revelarnosla. El episodio 1130 del anime adapta en su totalidad el capítulo 1096 del manga. El episodio empieza con unas escenas POV de Kuma donde nos muestras parte de su vida antes de ser llevado God Valley, por lo que vemos como su madre de despide de él, su padre diciéndole que su madre murió y vemos desde su perspectiva como observa el asesinato de su parte. Estos momentos no suceden en el manga, por lo que es un añadido bastante interesante y triste ver como este tan maltratado personaje ha estado viviendo desde que ha sido tomado como esclavo.
Posterior a estas escenas el episodio empieza exactamente igual al manga, nos encontramos en God Valley y da inicio a la cacería de esclavos, siendo esto apenas una pizca de lo cruel y mórbido que puede ser el gobierno mundial, especialmente los Dragones Celestiales. Kong, el antiguo jefe supremo de la marina contacta con un joven Garp y le indica que debe ir a God Valley, ya que Roger también ira, por lo que Garp sin perder más tiempo va hacia ese lugar. Muchos piratas alrededor del mundo han sido informados de lo que va a suceder en la isla, pero especialmente por los premios que serán otorgados a la persona que mate más esclavos. Dicha información ha sido filtrada al exterior por Ginny, un personaje muy importante para el desarrollo de Kuma y básicamente ella fue quien dio inicio a este acontecimiento.
Inicia la cacería, muchos empiezan a morir, viejos, adultos, jóvenes e incluso madres con sus bebes en brazos, es toda una masacre, pero a la isla llega una de las bandas piratas más poderosas y caóticas de la historia de One Piece, “comandada” por Rocks, llegan a la isla: Barba Blanca, Kaido, Big Mom, Shiki, Stussy, Gloriosa (antigua emperatriz de la isla de mujeres) y otros personajes que anteriormente los vimos como zombis en el arco de Thiller Bark. Todos ellos empiezan a causar caos en la isla y posteriormente llega Roger, Rayleigh, Gaban y toda la banda. Todos estos piratas buscan lo mismo: Adueñarse de los premios, los cuales son frutas del diablo muy poderosas, una de ellas sería la mismísima fruta de Kaido, la cual en el arco de Wano, Big Mom mencionó que ella misma fue quien le dio esa fruta a Kaido y la otra fruta es la que posteriormente consumiría Kuma.
La llegada de estos piratas es mucho para la marina, por lo que necesitan ayuda y no tardaría en llegar, ya que en su ayuda llega Garp y los demás marines. Lo que causaría una lucha sin cuartel donde se estarían enfrentando los personajes más poderosos de su generación y lo que provocaría posteriormente el evento del Incidente de God Valley, el cual fue borrado de la historia. Creo que muchos esperábamos que Toei agregaran algunas escenas extras de estos piratas enfrentándose, ya que esto es algo que muchos de los que habíamos leído el capítulo del manga en su momento lo esperábamos, pero no fue así, por lo que estoy seguro que Oda se está guardando este acontecimiento para poder mostrarlo en el futuro, ya que seguramente algo sucedió en esa isla que será de gran importancia luego.
Aprovechándose del caos causado por los piratas, Kuma e Ivankov van en búsqueda de las frutas, las tienen en sus manos pero aparece Big Mom, ataca a Ivankov y le arrebata la fruta que posteriormente le entregaría a Kaido. Kuma ante tal situación come la fruta que tiene en sus manos, con la que luego salvaría a varias más de 500 esclavos de la masacre y el caos de la isla. Este sería el acontecimiento que daría fin a Rocks o al menos eso es lo que se sabe, pero al haber ocurrido tantas cosas en dicha isla, como dije anteriormente todo lo que sucedió en ese lugar fue borrado de los registros.
El anime hizo una excelente adaptación de la manga, el ritmo estuvo bastante bien, quizás no tan bueno como anteriores episodios, pero fue agradable de ver, además ver a personajes tan icónicos y prácticamente leyendas del universo de One Piece en sus mejores momentos, fue algo bastante satisfactorio de ver, aunque no hayamos visto nada de las peleas. Kuma y Ginny empezaron a vivir juntos, mientras que Ivankov fue en búsquedas de aventuras y posteriormente conocería a Dragon. El episodio termina exactamente igual al manga, con Kuma y Ginny por fin siendo felices y compartiendo la cena. Una escena hermosa, pero para lo que ya hemos leído el manga, sabemos que la felicidad no es eterna.
