I've had a pleasant surprise recently when exploring proofofbrain.io and seeing the discussions and community effort to make it an attractive tribe. Having initially just got the tip from 
So today, I decided I would stake the rewards that I have currently received, as well as future rewards for the foreseeable future.

For those of my followers that don't have a clue about this tribe, here are some quick points:
- It applies the same deflation rate and token supply cap of Bitcoin with a regular "Halving" and a fixed cap of 21 million tokens.
- Tokens are only distributed through author and curation rewards, so no staking rewards or other ways of earning the token.
- Current supply is no more than 339,386 tokens, as the Tribe has only been around for a month or two.
I love how the current discussions and user involvement in trying to start competitions and other fun activities remind me of the first few months I experienced back when I joined 4 years ago. Since the early days, there is one vision for this chain that has never died on me: The idea of providing a decentralized platform where individuals can own their own accounts and where communities of people can build their own projects independently of one another in pursuit of their own ambitions.
Seeing the recent growth of #LeoFinance happening completely uncorrelated with the value of #HIVE, I was again reminded of that vision. So while we're still extremely early with #POB, I think it is opportunities like this to build something new, and to earn an initial stake that gives real influence in its future direction is really exciting. I really hope that more communities make the effort to implement their own tokenomics and to thus allow itself to be successful regardless of the price of HIVE (but while bringing value to the token by adding more demand for resource credits and a more active market of people trading HIVE for different community tokens).
So I would like to encourage those of you who are following me and who have been trying to curate well and create a social media experience that you want for yourself to also give this a shot. I certainly am and will continue to stake my rewards and curate actively in the weeks ahead.
