Almost everyone in this era is heading towards the non-pacific state of mind. And the reasons are in plenty. First of all, people have a fear of lacking behind from others in career, living, and also in relationships. Secondly, people today are full of desires. They have a hunger for almost everything. They want everything. And feel helpless, hopeless, and disappointed if not achieved.
Talking about the third point, people pressurize themselves a lot. They keep thinking about the same stuff for long and so hard that the stuff gets to stick to their mind and occupy a dominant place there. So, people should obviously think less. The less they'll think, the more easy life would be for them and it will also be good for their mental health.
What we need to learn is how to achieve a stable mindset and how to control our fluctuating emotions. For that, you need to go deep and find out the root cause from actually where it is coming from, our fears, anxieties, nervousness, helplessness, hopelessness, disappointments have to divert their ways and come back as fulfilling emotions.
Now, there are some points highlighting the sources of peace of mind.
Proper Exercises
And these include meditation and yoga. I remember when I was in college, in the morning there used to be meditation prayer compulsory for all to attend. We all were made to sit on the floor, close our eyes, keep our back straight and repeat the prayers recorded in the tape which used to play after we all occupy our respective places. So, it used to be a 10 minutes session. And I must tell you guys, it was damn helpful. It assisted us in remaining focused throughout our classes.
Stay Away From Unnecessary Distractions
So, today the world is full of distractions. And the major distraction is none other than the smartphones. Others include the television, newspapers, internet, video games, music, movies, TV series or any other series, reality shows, mystery shows and many others.
If you are watching a horror movie at night, there is a possibility that you do not get sleep the same night out of fear. And the very next day, due to the lack of sleep, you can feel restless. In turn, losing your peace of mind. Hence, we should know what is good for us and stay away from unnecessary distractions.
Try To Embrace Changes In Life
The most difficult part of adulthood lies here. When a person grows up, he has to embrace a lot of changes in his life. But, he is unable to, for saying he has an unbreakable bond with a thing or any person. But over the time, he has to master the art of letting go. As if we tend to hold on things, we will never be able to move ahead with say perfection and also our mind will be restless every time.
Throw Your Anger In The Bin
A person who gets into anger on small things tends to lose patience frequently and is likely to be more impatient in life. I know there are certain people who irritating at a level. But instead of getting angry, one should stay away from the company of such people without being noticed by them. People who are prone to high impatience have a poor state of mind and feel tired every time.
Walk Regularly In The Morning
Walking is the best exercise for health. And when it comes to early morning walk, nothing can beat it. When we go for a walk early in the morning, we get to inhale fresh air, we get to see the early morning beauty of nature which refreshes our eyes, we get to meet our neighbors and also some new people, and overall we get a positive vibration. And we remain calm and happy the whole day.
Try Make Others Happy
Making others happy can leave you sad in no case. I think this is the best therapy of mind ever. No matter we are restless or in normal state of mind, we should always be ready to help others out in any way possible. When we'll see the happy faces around us and all because of our little efforts, we'll feel as if we have done a miles achievement.
At last, I would just love to say that we should find happiness in small things in life. My grandmother says that in their time, there were no such wealth and facilities, and then too, they used to be very happy with everything. They used to live together, eat together, cook together, travel together, used to respect each other feelings and trust, had mutual understandings, had a great patience level and used to love each and every person.
I know at this time, we cannot become what they were. But, at least we should take a little inspiration from their living and contribute a very little to the society, to the nation and to the world.
Hope you all enjoyed the post..
