Today's report exposes those at the top that need it sooooo much more than those of us down here at the bottom.
In the last 12 hours:
Dust accounts got 6.72% of the reward pool.
Newbies got 7.05%.
Users got 18.32%.
Superusers, that's me, got 31.83%.
Heroes (who names these people?) got 26.45%.
Super Hero and Legends(???) got 8.47%.
Now that tells me why they keep down the superstars, the distribution is evening out, and nobody likes losing control.
The largest ten voters gave 26.29% of the reward pool to their favorite authors.
I don't really see how to improve this absent a voluntary 50mv limit.
Were those above 80mv to stop voting everybody else's mv have more weight.
If only one vote is cast, the whole reward pool goes to that vote.
When whales vote, everybody else's vote has value taken away.
When whales delegate their stake it goes to those few that are willing to pay to play.
This is why rewards are so low.
It's just a fact in the math.
Now, that works vice versa, as well.
So get out there and vote on only posts with less than a few dollars!
2 voters gave 11.04% of the reward pool their favorites (source), they are 'just voting their sp'.
I don't think that they realize what they are costing us in adoption.
Why should ~46,000 active accounts (source) participate when only 2 of them control 11% of the reward pool?
What kind of game is that?
Even if it went to 'good' content, which, imo, it did.
Is it sustainable,...?
I guess we will find out.
Have a perfectly peaceful day.
Keep working, stop paying.
No war, but the class war!!
