Here in London it is only 1 hour until Christmas Day arrives. I would just like to wish you, your family and friends a very Happy Christmas. Steemit came into my life in March of this year, and it is no overestimation to say that it has changed my life. And changed it in a very positive way.
Steemit is an incredibly powerful platform and to think that it could reinvent social media in the unique way it has is truly a remarkable achievement for human endeavour. We have all made Steemit a success and we should all feel very proud to be part of this movement.
Cryptocurrency is the game changer I have been waiting for. Steemit is the vehicle helping me to invest in crypto. And Steemit has helped me find some amazing people I would never have otherwise known. It has enabled me to create new relationships and enrich my world.
However, when my post rewards started decreasing and the whales started visiting less I stumbled upon an amazing new initiative called Whaleshares set up by 
Steemit is a great place, but it could be even better. If the will and momentum was there we could create a truly decentralised platform that was fairer to all. Perhaps we could rid it of the corrupt elements, which are very powerful. Maybe it can be done, perhaps it can't. Who knows.
