With all of purging and making changes...the subject of my dreads has come up.
I really enjoy them. It feels like a new form of myself was born when I dreaded my hair.
I've mentioned this before, that people suddenly saw me differently...but in a good way! I'm still shocked by how many compliments I get.
But seasons change...and desires change.
Of course, the Yeti wanted to help, so I picked one that had cannibalized at the beginning and now had two ends coming from one dread.
We found a good length and cut that sucker off!
We didn't think much about it, but it really lobbed it off. It's just sitting there with a blunt end.
I knew I might lose my wispy ends, but this was a bit much.
So, we tried again on a different dread, but at more of an angle and it went better. So, now we'll just wait and see if it becomes wispier.
Although, I'm excited for a big hair change...I can only take so much at a time. And the idea of chopping them off for good or bad right before the Steam Creators conference...doesn't sound great.
I might need to cloak myself with them like a security blanket! 😂
