IF you have an open mind, read this book: "the secret life of plants" by Peter Tompkins. Written in 1973, so much of what was discovered back then STILL isn't taught in biology or botany classes today. You will never look at plants the same way if you read the book. Of course, for many, it will be ridiculed because it doesn't 'fit' into what we 'know' about plants. Read it and then decide for yourself. Here's wikipedia's take on it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Secret_Life_of_Plants
