¿A veces no les pasa que encuentran cosas olvidadas en casa y de repente les llega una chispa de creatividad? Pues hoy me pasó justo eso. Me levanté con un poquito más de ganas y entusiasmo de lo normal, y mientras limpiaba y organizaba mis cosas, me di cuenta de algo: ¡tengo muchísimos pintalabios y maquillajes dispersos por todos lados! Unos en una gaveta, otros en una bolsa, algunos hasta "perdidos". Así que dije: ¡manos a la obra!

Don't you ever find things you've forgotten about at home and suddenly get a spark of creativity? Well, that's exactly what happened to me today. I woke up feeling a little more motivated and enthusiastic than usual, and while I was cleaning and organizing my things, I realized something: I have so many lipsticks and makeup products scattered everywhere! Some in a drawer, others in a bag, some even "lost." So I said: time to get to work!
Hoy me animé a hacer una pequeña cajita donde pueda meter todos mis tesoritos de maquillaje juntos, ordenaditos y a la vista. Y lo mejor: hecha por mí misma, con mis propias manos y mi estilo.
Aquí en este post les iré enseñando cómo lo fui haciendo, paso a paso, y qué decoraciones le fui colocando para que quedara bien bonita y con mi toque personal.
In this post, I'll show you how I made it, step by step, and what decorations I added to make it look beautiful and with my personal touch.
No busqué la perfección, busqué algo lindo, útil y hecho con mucho amor.

The step-by-step process of making my organizer box:
Para empezar, utilicé una cajita que tenía guardada por ahí. De esas que a veces pensamos en botar, pero que con un poquito de cariño pueden tener una segunda oportunidad. Justo como la que muestro en las imágenes: una cajita sencilla que estaba esperando ser transformada.
To begin, I used a little box I had lying around. One of those boxes we sometimes think about throwing away, but which, with a little care, can have a second life. Just like the one shown in the pictures: a simple little box that was waiting to be transformed.
Luego, con dos foami escarchado morado (tamaño carta), fui sacando las plantillas o formas para forrar toda la caja. Forré la tapa, los laterales, la base... todo.
Then, using two sheets of purple glitter foam (letter size), I cut out the templates or shapes to cover the entire box. I covered the lid, the sides, the base... everything.
Después de tenerla forrada, recorté pequeños rectángulos (por así decirlo) para el interior de la cajita. Y para esconder esos detalles que delatan las uniones, esas líneas que quedan al forrar, recorté tiras delgaditas de foami y las fui pegando con cuidado para tapar cada borde. Así, tal cual como se ve en la imagen de la caja ya forrada, quedó uniforme y bonita por dentro y por fuera. ✂️
After covering it, I cut out small rectangles (so to speak) for the inside of the box. And to hide those details that betray the seams, those lines left when covering, I cut thin strips of foam and carefully glued them on to cover each edge. So, just like you see in the picture of the covered box, it turned out uniform and pretty inside and out. ✂️
Y entonces llegó la parte más divertida: la decoración. Empecé a hacer pequeños mini maquillajes en foami. Simulé una brochita de maquillaje, sombras, polvo,una barra de labios... todo en miniatura, como pequeños juguetes, pero con la intención de que adornaran mi cajita y le dieran ese aire coqueto, femenino y divertido.
And then came the most fun part: the decoration. I started making little mini makeup sets out of foam. I made miniature makeup brushes, eyeshadows, powder, a lipstick... everything in miniature, like little toys, but with the intention of decorating my little box and giving it that cute, feminine, and fun look.

Llena de mis pintalabios, lista para usar todos los días y con ese toque personal que tanto me gusta. Como dije al principio: es una cajita sencilla, hecha a mano, con materiales básicos, pero con mucho corazón.
Filled with my lipsticks, ready to use every day, and with that personal touch I love so much. As I said at the beginning: it's a simple little box, handmade with basic materials, but made with a lot of heart.
