After months of trying to get @Holybread to work on one of my browsers, I was finally able to. For some reason, even with the same settings, I can only get the game to work on Chrome. Doesn't matter since it at least works on a browser I like.
In about 24 hours of playing I have gotten to level 3 with my first hero, gained nearly 1000 ranks in the arena, leveled up my stats a decent amount, and fully geared up my first hero.
The game named my hero Heathcliff, which I thought worked with Frugalarcher (my in game family name).
So far I have only lost one arena fight, my first one (not shown in the screenshot). I am sure that streak will end eventually. If not, awesome.
I gained almost 1000 ranks in a day, which I am sure isn't that difficult for new players as long as they use up their daily energy doing quests.
