God wants us prosperous, even very prosperous. To prosper is to do well and make progress, achieving successes in ascending procession. Prosperity is not evil. It is God's will for His people to prosper exceedingly. The Bible tells us that those who serve the will of God and favour His righteous cause ought to shout for joy and be glad, and say continually, let the Lord be magnified, because He has pleasure in their prosperity. God has pleasure in your prosperity. He is not sad or has ill-feeling when you prosper. He is excited as you prosper because it is His will for you to prosper. He made prosperity for you and wired you to prosper.
Psalms 35:27
”Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”
Prosperity is your portion and destiny. 3 John 2 tells us more about this. It says,
”Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
So, we see clearly that God wants us to prosper. It is not God's will for you to live from hand to mouth, barely surviving and overwhelmed by life's challenges. God designed for you to prosper and prevail over life's challenges in the Name of Jesus Christ. You are God's ambassador; you are His plenipotentiary; you are the apple of His eye. It is never God's will for you to go through life, battered, beaten and defeated. He designed for you to exercise dominion over the entire world, and that includes money and material blessings. God wants you to have plenty of money, but He doesn't want money to have you; His idea of prosperity is dominion over material wealth to meet your needs, to fulfill His plan on earth and to help humanity.
It is important to renew your mind to the fact that God wants you to prosper. Religion has lied to many people that prosperity is against the will of God, and so it is not His will. Many have been deceived to believe that prosperity will make them to miss heaven. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and other patriarchs of faith are not in hell. They walked in prosperity and used their material blessings to serve the will of God in their generation. Material prosperity is a part of the covenant blessing of Abraham. Renew your mind to prosperity. It is God's will for you to prosper! Go ahead and shout for joy and be glad, for God delights in your prosperity.
