You know what bugs me about the internet and googling these days?
I made some pumpkin pie btw
When you google for a recipe, you get their big long backstory about how amazing it's gonna taste and all that.
Like this: https://lovingitvegan.com/vegan-pumpkin-pie/
(But that's just an example to show what I mean. Not trying to single them out. Every recipe I click on seems to work like this.)
Think about what you're likely to be up to when you google a recipe. For me, it's either shopping for the ingredients, or it's like I'm knee deep in 5 different things going on and want to quickly know the next step.
And then it's annoying to scroll thru and all the pics trying to load jumbles it up and all that. It's not about you and your story time, sorry. I just want the info.
Feels like a flaw to me.
Like, I don't blame the recipe people for exploiting how google works and what will come up early. I just think google should adjust.
It would be one thing if it was some ancient heirloom exotic great-grandmother family recipe sort of thing. In that case, you're looking for the backstory.
But if it's like "this is how you make pumpkin pie", or whatever common recipe, you want the info and not a story about it. That's not what should come up first.
Plz fix.
Today I'm also trying this vegan roast from Field Roast
I heard people talking at Whole Foods and I eavesdropped and they said this was really good. Field Roast is imaginative and good at what they do, in my experience, so I don't doubt it.
I like that it's not trying to be a turkey. It's just trying to be a thing that's good in its own right. The inside is I guess a vegan sausage stuffing.
