And today was no exception. (Shout out to GoVeggie non-dairy grated cheese.)
There's always the question of if you want to pour the sauce on top, or integrate the noodles into the sauce.
Integration ensures that all the noodles will be covered, but for some reason I like the pour over. I don't know why.
At least, I like the pour over when it's simple ziti and sauce like this. I would integrate in a lot of other pasta dishes.
I think I like the variance of some bites being different than others.
I opened up a can of Rao's sauce even tho I had a perfectly good low level sauce sitting there:
I actually didn't know that jar was there, but maybe that was by design. I thought about Rao's and never let it cross my mind that maybe there was another jar already opened.
I made a boo-boo steaming the carrots 😒
Left it going after the water had evaporated. It's hard to ruin things and I imagine I can probably just wash it off, but we'll see.
It'll be really wasteful if I don't go on to finish both tomato sauces and lost the pan.
