Well newcomer maybe it a wrong word, but it has been here for a while. But they are building on their portfolio in a rather fast way.
The problem for them and for us, is that after the Magic Dice exit scam and the ongoing false promises of Steem-bet, it is hard to know if you can trust a gambling dapp or if it worth investing!
But after a chat with the owner, who is very responsive, I decided to give them a try!

Here are my thoughts!

Overall

Well the interface is clear but the color scheme could be a little bit better.

But you can see immediately that they do offer 4 games at the moment and the rumor is that they will be launching a fifth one this week! It is great to see a gambling dapp with a various offering of games.
The betting is done via keychain, which is great on one side, but the missing of steemconnect means that cupz can't be played on the mobile devices, which probably does cost them some volume.
The volume at the moment is rather low. They do deserve more volume in my opinion.

Just like most gambling dapps, one can earn tokens with gambling. There will be max 5000M tokens available. For the moment 500 tokens are your reward for a 1 steem bet. Each time 5% is mined the token distribution will be halved.

Cupz

The first game they did offer.
The game play is simple and it is played against other players! Choice your stake and click the cup under which the ball is located according to you. Of course is it possible to pick more than one cup.
When all cups are choicen, the outcome is revealed. The winner will get the complete stake minus a commission. The commission is 2%.

Dice game

The famous dice game.
Which is great here that there are 2 options. You can gamble with steem or with the native token Cupz. How great is that!
Which I also like is the possibility to bet over and under. But there is still room for improvement. The number which is rolled is shown inside the cup, but it disappears after a few second. I would like to see it staying there until the bet is placed!

Schrodingers Ball

A pretty straight forward and simple game. It a ball in the cup or not? It is up to you do decide.
If you are correct you will get almost the double of your ante. So for a 1 steem bet, if won, you will get 1.98 steem.

The game changer: roulette

I love to play roulette, I always have done so and now there is a gambling dapp availble which does offer.

It allows you to bet on the under/over, first 18 or last 18, red or black. A number spot on, the first, second or third row, and the first 12, second 12 and last 12.
The house edge in roulette is the number 0, which doesn't belong to any of the above bets, expect a bet on number 0. It is an European roulette because there is only 1 zero!

What I am missing here is the possibility to bet on corners (4 numbers) and on a street (3 numbers). But there is enough possibility to have some fun!

Dashboard

Also something I like, the personal dashboard. Here you can find the number of cupz you have, how much this is compared to the already total distributed number of cupz!
And you possible dividend.
Also you can find information about how many bets you have wagered, how much steem this was and how much steem was paid out to you!

Leader boards

They do understand that steemians do like leaderboards. So they have 3 of them.
Most steem wagered in a day, most steem won, and the referral with the most steem wagered.

Due to the volume at the moment it is pretty easy to get on the leader board.

So it hard at the moment to promote a gambling dapp with all the things going on.
I can only tell that I do enjoy playing there. There is only a negative thing, which I don't like. The div pay out will only start when the first halving of the tokens is done, so after 250M are mined. I did hear this story before at steem-bet. I can understand that with the current volume there is not a real business case to distribute divs. They do accumulate the divs at the moment. But it will take some time, for sure with this volume, before the first 250M are mined.

So you will have to make your own decision.
