I saw today someone who has over a 74 reputation score was powering down significantly. Selling into a down market. So either they are a rat leaving a sinking ship or just a Chicken Little, afraid the sky is falling. What do you think?
If you are reading this then surely you have noticed that steemit.com has become a ghost town. I made a post the other day the other day that generated ZERO. It was just a shitty Parley post but nothing? Not one cent? That's never happened before.
I have over 1000 followers, a shit post should generate more than zero. So is this
in a death spiral or is this just a temporary setback due to weak crypto markets?
Where is the tipping point? You are still here reading this (if anyone is left to read this) at what point do you give up? When I first started I was pretty lucky that STEEM prices were up around $5-6, with no followers I made $300 in my first month. That was 6 months ago, if I check my account now, and I have not made any withdrawals, my account is worth less than $300. Sure I have way more Steem power but it is worth far less. I was getting about $130 a week on a regular basis. Heck comments were worth more than I get for a good post that I bot up now. Some of my favorite posters seem to have disappeared,
has been gone for weeks. I hope he is just on vacation or just enjoying his new home but perhaps he has given up on
.
I don't really care about the money, but I don't know how long I can keep posting into the wind, the money is important because it keeps high quality posters engaged and posting, it's not too much fun to post things that nobody reads. Also not much fun to not have interesting things to read.
Does anyone else feel like young Indy?
