So, I had never been to Denmark, or anywhere near Scandinavia to be extremely honest, and I had a work trip come up to go to this city called Aarhus. When I usually go on a trip, I try not to google it too much because I think it ruins the magic of it. You go to a city and you don't even ask any of the locals where to go! So I didn't search up anything and this turned out to be one of my favorite cities in the world, ever.
Because of work, I didn't have much time to go around the city, but when I did, I didn't want to leave. The people of Denmark are so nice, so welcoming, kind... and the whole city has a vibe of comfort. Hopefully you'll see it through some of my photos.
All the streets were lit up with beautiful Christmas lights. And everybody, I mean EVERYBODY was out shopping for Christmas.
I had not noticed how beautiful the sky can be up north! I took maybe 100 photos of this church because I loved the background lighting so much!
Nothing matches the street saxophone !
We had dinner at one of these restaurants on the river. Delicious beer, delicious food :)
I took a sneak peek into the Christmas market. Smelled so cozy and nice :)
This was the recommendation of one of the locals, to go to the AROS museum. So I did. It's fascinating. You can walk up to the top and walk in that rainbow! So the next few photos are a selection of what was in that museum.
So in the 1 week I was in Denmark, I only got 1 day to tour around and do all this but it was amazing. Definitely a different culture I had never experienced before. I'll hopefully go again, and take more photos. Next time I'm going there I'm going to legoland!
