Today is a special day so we are not going to travel anywhere but to enjoy some special moments close to our loved ones - because it's The Orthodox Easter.
I know that many of you have already celebrated the easter as The Catholic Easter was the past Sunday on 1st April, but personally I'm an orthodox so today is the day when I enjoyed this holiday.
I don't want to make this post too long but just to share some pictures with you, how I had fun in the kitchen while paiting the eggs and to share some good wishes at the end of this post.
If last year I was more into gaming and superheroes and such stuffs so I decided to paint the eggs with different logos of superheroes, this time of the year I decided to make something different and special in the same time.
I tried to make the eggs so colorful that you will instantly start smiling because of the good vibes that a colorful thing can bring into your life.
So let's see how I made it :)
I started to arrange on the table the things that I am going to use and then watched some tutorials on YouTube.
I will write below what I used as you can't see everything in the picture.
- 18 eggs
- gloves
- rice
- liquid paint
- vinegar
Of course on the internet everything seems so easy comparing with reality..so at the beginning it was a chaos - I really had no idea what I am doing, lol
But I started pouring 2 spoons of rice and some drops of paint into a glass, then mix it until the rice got the color of the paint, then drop the egg in the glas and shake it.
I was convinced that I will break all the eggs in this way but suprise! there was no victim, haha.
And that's how I managed to get 12 painted eggs with some rice sticked on them making the eggs look crystallized.

If everything seemed to be so easy, I thought that I will also try something more complicated - to make the last 6 eggs look different.
To be special.
But if you wish to try this the next time of the year..
SPOILER ALERT:
A lot of mess incoming!

We will start by moistening a paper towel with vinegar then poor drops by different colours until there is no clean space left. (if there will be free spaces you will see the results in the pictures below - the blue egg, which I also find it cool)
Then we will place the egg on the paper towel and wrap it.
I've also attached some elastics to make sure that the egg will get the colour I wanted.
Then you will wait about 5-10 mins and get off the paper towel. (the more you leave the paper towel on the egg - the more accentuated the color will be)
And this is how I managed to get 6 beautiful eggs. ❤❤

I hope everyone had great times celebrating the Easter - no mater whether you celebrated it on 1st April or 8th.
May each one of you have a good year filled with happiness, health, peace of mind and good moments close to your loved ones.
Happy Easter Everyone!! ❤
