As the story has to continue, the next part of my gameplay from Life is Strange: Reunion takes place in a very important location, which is Fremont House.
Even if it still feels far from seeing a bit of light in the mystery of the upcoming fire at Caledon University, the story really starts to tighten around that unavoidable event, with even more clues to gather, while Max walks into the house whose people are on the suspects list.
Once Max finally enters the house, things shift from quiet investigation into something much more unsettling. Inside, she encounters Loretta, who is already examining the space on her own. I chose to keep things calm rather than immediately confront her, because it felt like Max was still trying to piece everything together rather than control the situation. But even that interaction felt tense, like neither of us fully trusts the other, even if we’re technically on the same side for the moment.
While this moment of the overall game's story doesn't necessarily come with too many important choices to be taken but rather mostly dialogue options, the clues gathering turns into a challenge of time to avoid having anyone become a victim when the actual house destruction takes place. Personally, I failed for a couple of times to do all the steps needed before this happened, but with the power of Max who's able to rewind the time, I ended up getting the turnout I was chasing.
Still within the same gameplay video but quite on the opposite pole, there are moments with Chloe's side of the storyline, who is at the Snapping Turtle bar, interacting with Lucas and Amanda, while also dealing with tension from Noelle and the growing suspicion around her presence.
Lucas, in particular, feels the important one here because even though Chloe and he don’t fully trust each other, there’s still a sense that he knows more than he’s saying. Equally, Amanda’s presence adds a slightly lighter tone, but even those conversations carry a bit of tension, like everyone is aware something bigger is about to break.
Anyway, as there are still pieces of the overall puzzle to be added, this part of Life is Strange: Reunion felt pretty much like a turning point, if you ask me, because, along with gathering evidence, it also felt how deep the situation really goes.
