I know it's Wednesday and there is not too much time left until we'll say goodbye to 2021 and make our first steps into the new year, but today's Live Summit that was just released, also represents the last event from the current year and the one we will begin 2022, having a pretty suggestive name - New Years Eve.
This one succeeds the previous event which had a Christmas theme and it was called Icy Xmas. So let's do one more last dance on the streets of the US with both bikes and cars, and smash some waves with the boats before celebrating the new year, shall we? 😍
New Years Eve Live Summit comes with a total of 9 races that will take you through various disciplines, and will run from 29th December until 5th January with the following tasks:
- Escape - where you are needed to drive away from a red dot that is slowly covering the map and cross a distance no less than 1,100 meters away from it to win the race. [No Restriction Race]
- Aerobatics - being required to fly a plane and do different acrobatics to collect at least 2,390 points. [No Restriction Race]
- Slalom - you have to make a slalom between various objects placed on the water and collect 3,240 points. [No Restriction Race]
- Jetsprint - not one of the most common races during the Live Summits but where you will drive a small boat that is very fast and easy to control. You need to place yourself on the first position to have the race marked as completed. [No Restriction Race]
- Powerboat - another race on the water but with a different kind of boat. You need to get in one of the Top 3 places. [No Restriction Race]
- Hyper - a race with more adrenaline and speed where you are driving a forced vehicle against other players and need to reach Top 3 to win the race. [Forced Vehicle]
- Air Race - as its name says, you will enjoy a race in the air flying a plane against time where you have to finish the race before 02:15:338 minutes. [PC-21 required]
- Street - a pretty basic race on the streets but where you are forced to drive a specific car and get to the finish line before 03:25.000 minutes. [Diablo GT required]
- Drift - as it name says, you will have to drive a required car and make drifts with it gathering no less than the required number of points. [12C required]
While in most of the previous Live Summits I played so far there were more Street and Hyper races and there was not too much diversity amongst disciplines, this time, I'm happy to say that we finally have each race corresponding to a different game mode, so there is no way to get bored while completing the missions!
I think it's also a premiere because I can't remember to seeing a Jetsprint mission in this kind of weekly events so far, so I'm happy you will get to see something new, but none of the other races can be neglected because each of them has something special.
This time I only needed to purchase two new vehicles for the Drift and Street disciplines and even though I didn't afford to buy both of them from the first day the event was released, there is enough time to collect some more money and get them both. So far I purchased the Diablo GT one which was around 668,000 bucks, while the other one is around 730,000 bucks and I'll have to do some more races to get enough money for it.
I think all races are quite easy to be completed by anyone hitting a decent score, but the single one which I felt more challenging was the 6th race where you are driving a forced vehicle and whose performance level is 261/320 so don't expect to reach the 100,000 goal that easy because it's almost impossible to do it with a car that doesn't have the maximum level.
Nevertheless, even though I am not really a fan of the races in the air these two missions flying a plane were pretty decent, not being needed to restart the race for too many times.
