Recently I saw some friends having a feast that made me envious watching them enjoy such a majestic banquet, while I just watched. Obviously, it could be a poisonous mushroom that would only affect humans if consumed.
A closer look gives you a perspective of how majestically they were savoring it.
Then I thought: what a wonder that there’s so much food in the forest for all the local inhabitants to enjoy. Many times this food goes unnoticed by our eyes, but not by Mother Nature.
And if we’re observant, we’ll see that many of the majestic mushrooms we have in our possession—meaning in the forest and mountains—are always bitten, nibbled, or torn. This is because they’ve been a food source for some beautiful creature, which allows them to keep living and lets the natural cycle continue its course.
Always with magical and symmetrical folds, as well as their beautiful hats full of charm in colors of great beauty, or simply in muted colors that sometimes look very pleasant and other times seem rather plain.
But well, let’s keep enjoying our magical creatures here in the deepest part of the mountain, the enchanted place where you can appreciate these beauties that it’s always a pleasure to know and see in all their splendor.
Be careful with mushrooms. Don’t eat anything unless you’re absolutely sure it’s edible—they could kill you in a few hours and cause you a lot of pain.
Thanks for coming. Photos and material are my own.
