Brisbane Broncos Game Nine

I've been looking forward to this game...not this exact game against the Roosters, but the game in which Reece Walsh comes back from his broken cheek bone injury. Furthermore, the Broncos are bringing in Aublix Tawha, Jesse Arthars, Luke Gale and Patrick Carrigan from injuries and suspension so with some of the big guns back I think this game could have been epic...but it was fucken diabolical.

• Game Two Loss: Brisbane Broncos (32) Vs Paramatta Eels (40) - What the fucking fuck.
• Game Three Win: Brisbane Broncos (18) V's Melbourne Storm (14) - A solid comeback win.
• Game Four Win: Brisbane Broncos (26) V's Dolphins (12) - The momentum builds.
• Game Five Win: Brisbane Broncos (26) V's Gold Coast Titans (12) - A win but worrying injuries.
• Game Six Loss: Brisbane Broncos (31) V's North Queensland Cowboys (35) - Tough game they should have won.
• Game Seven Win: Brisbane Broncos (21) V's Wests Tigers (20) - A one point win - I'll take it.
• Game Eight Win: Brisbane Broncos Win: (32) V's Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (12) - A dominant display.
• Game Nine Loss: Brisbane Broncos (24) V's Sydney Roosters (38) An epic loss despite such effort.

This game was plagued with injuries on both sides. The Roosters dominated the first half holding the Broncos scoreless to the 30 points the Roosters piled on. The Broncos managed to bring their A-game to the second half which is where they scored all their points and They got within converted try (6 points) to the Roosters as they began to crumble under pressure and make unforced errors. But they managed to steady themselves, added some more points and ran away with it.

Also annoying was three sin-bin-worthy offenses in a row by the same player (Roosters) with no sin bin time ensuing. The referee needed glasses. (I'm very vexed.)

This was a brutal and, at times, an incredibly aggressive game with some dirty game play but at the end the Broncos were simply not good enough...and I'm disappointed with the result as the Broncos slip downwards on the ladder.
