Have you ever thought about what you'd buy with a hypothetical chunk of money that was given to you as part of an inheritance? (Let's call the sum a years' worth of your current income.)
For some, their mind goes straight to using it for a sensible purpose like paying down debt, an investment purchase or something else that puts them ahead of where they currently are - that makes perfect sense too.
But what if you were given a free pass to spend it on something that isn't quite as sensible, like on a want item rather than a need item?
I wonder what you'd buy?
Let's leave crypto and other investments out of the answers - it's predictable and boring and not the point of this post. Is there a want item you'd buy, something you have always wanted but are too sensible to spend your money on?
Remember, the sum of money is one years' worth of your current annual income - What would you go out and purchase with it if you didn't have to be sensible and responsible with the money?
