Many little girls across the Globe love the stories of Anne of Green Gables. Prince Edward Island, located in Canada in the inspiration of these stories. Prince Edward Island is located on what is known as the East coast of Canada. It is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. Winter's can be cruel to island dwellers. Summer's are filled with agriculture and tourism. PEI is best known for it's Potatoes. The fishing industry also flourishes with it's lobster delight. There is a bridge that connects PEI to the rest of Canada, called the Confederation Bridge.
Now lets talk about Anne, the little red head girl growing up on a farm. Anne of Green Gables, novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery, published in Boston, 1908; its first Canadian edition appeared in Toronto, 1943
As one of the most recognizable landmarks in all of Canada, Green Gables in Prince Edward Island holds an emotionally-charged appeal for all Anne lovers
The red sand of PEI is also quite notable for this province.
And with all that red sand, PEI is well known for their PEI. It's the pride of Canadian Potatoes.
The coast line all around the province are so breathtaking. Here is the most notable golf course in the province.
As a child I have traveled to this Island and enjoy all it's splendor. I love it so much that I thought it was too good to keep for myself so I share with my STEEMIT friends.
