Quiero en esta ocasión contarle de una grata sorpresa que recibí esta semana, de una persona muy especial. Él siempre tiene un detalle, pero este me agradó muchísimo.

Todos conocemos la manzanilla, bien sea en su presentación de té o en paquetitos con la flor. Debo confesar sin pena alguna, que nunca había visto una mata de manzanilla, pero ese día fui sorprendida con una, muy floreada y perfumada a la vez. Jose me comenta: “conseguí dos, una para usted y una para mí”, eso me pareció un bello gesto de su parte. A ambos nos gustan las plantas y estamos en esa misma sintonía.

We all know chamomile, either in its tea presentation or in small packages with the flower. I must confess that I had never seen a chamomile bush, but that day I was surprised with one, very flowery and perfumed at the same time. Jose told me: "I got two, one for you and one for me", that seemed to me a beautiful gesture on his part. We both like plants and we are in the same tune.

Ese día la verdad no me sentía bien pero el día de ayer entre mi esposo y yo hicimos el trasplante, por aquí se los muestro paso a paso, pues lo primero que hice fue buscar un macetero bien grande, porque me la imagino bien frondosa y llenas de muchas flores.

Posteriormente se abrió un hueco en la tierra negra, bien amplio, se le rompió el envase plástico que tenía la planta, finalmente se procedió a sembrar, conservando la tierra que ella poseía, se rellenó el hueco con el resto de tierra y listo, así quedó mi mata de manzanilla en su macetero.

También quiero contarle que esta planta me gusta mucho porque parece de plástico y sus hojas dan la impresión de diseños de alas de mariposa, por lo intenso de sus colores, pero en estos días atrás la regañé, porque aunque estaba bien tupida y muy bonita no quería florecer. A los días me regaló una flor y eso me hizo reír mucho, porque me dije, “más antes la hubiese regañado". Tomé mi primera foto ya que observé que venía otra flor en camino, por eso al salir la otra hice mi segunda toma, la cual me hizo sentir feliz, me imaginé al lado de una persona que quiero mucho y que tengo deseos de ver.

I also want to tell you that I like this plant very much because it looks like plastic and its leaves give the impression of butterfly wings designs, because of the intensity of its colors, but these days I scolded it, because although it was very bushy and very pretty, it did not want to bloom. A few days later she gave me a flower and that made me laugh a lot, because I said to myself, "I would have scolded her sooner". I took my first picture because I noticed that another flower was on its way, so when the other one came out I took my second picture, which made me feel happy, I imagined myself next to a person I love very much and that I want to see.

Siguiendo con el relato, les muestro una planta que por aquí la conocemos bellas las 11, me la trajo una hermana espiritual, a quien por cariño le digo Berebere, pero por mi estado de salud no la pude recibir de sus manos. Se la entrego a mi hermana mayor que vive al lado de mi casa. Mi esposo la sembró en un porrón grande con otra mata, pero al mejorarme decidí meterla en un macetero más pequeño. Al verla florecida mi imaginación nuevamente se puso creativa, me hizo pensar en mis hermanas, somos 3 y nos damos a conocer como las 3 mosqueteras y justamente la planta tenía 3 flores muy lindas.

Continuing with the story, I show you a plant that around here we know as the beautiful 11, it was brought to me by a spiritual sister, whom I affectionately call Berebere, but due to my state of health I could not receive it from her hands. I give it to my older sister who lives next to my house. My husband planted it in a large pot with another bush, but when I got better I decided to put it in a smaller pot. When I saw it in bloom my imagination got creative again, it made me think of my sisters, there are 3 of us and we are known as the 3 musketeers and the plant had 3 very pretty flowers.

Ya para culminar, tengo una aliada activa con el tema de las plantas, ya les he hablado muchas veces de ella, pues la mayoría de mis plantas han sido obsequios de ella. Creo que su pasión por las matas es una de las razones que le da fuerzas para seguir adelante. Desafortunadamente hace unos años, un hijo perdió la vida en manos de unos delincuentes. Ina me cuenta que cuidar sus plantas y hablar con ellas la consuela mucho. Ella tiene realmente un vivero en el fondo de su casa, le gusta compartirlas con quienes desean cuidarlas y obtener los beneficios que ellas nos brindan. Este fue su último obsequio, me encanta por el contraste de los colores, ya antes había tenido varias de esta especie, pero las perdí.

Ina tells me that taking care of her plants and talking to them gives her a lot of comfort. She actually has a nursery in the back of her house, she likes to share them with those who want to take care of them and get the benefits they give us. This was her last gift, I love it because of the contrast of colors, I have had several of this species before, but I lost them.
