how are you..?? well as I already told you that 'm going to my brothers wedding that is reason not able read your post and upvote or comment on it.. soon i will update myself with all post and upvote them.
Today in this i am going describe about hindu wedding as i promise you i will let you know all about indian tradition and rituals.
Hindu wedding is called as Vivaha and the wedding ceremony is called Vivaah Sanskar . According to hindu beliefs marriages are made in heaven, once you are married, the bond is supposed to last for seven lifetimes.
The wedding ceremonies are very colourful, full of light, music ,dance and celebrations may extend for several days.
let's start day 1 there was the ganesh (god of hindu) poojan. In this ,the families pray to Lord Ganesha to remove all obstacles from the couple’s life path and shower their blessing to everyone. 
In the noon time there was mehndi ceremony. In this ceremony all reatives, family members will have intricate henna patterns drawn on their hands and feet. I'm sharing my mehndi design here. 
That evening, the cocktail party takes place ,it involves an introduction of the couple's families, music , a varieties of food and some drinks and dances or other performances.
Second day means wedding day , Haldi(turmeric)ceremony, in this we have applied the paste of haldi (ubtan)to the grooms face and body as in our Indian culture, haldi holds a special place of honour and also gives grow. In haldi ceremony all of us wore yellow colour dress. 
One of the bestest part of the weddings is baraat, or groom's procession. For this, the groom arrives to the ceremony on a decorated horse. Guests , relatives and family members dance around him to the beat of a dhol, an Indian drum , very loud band move on the road so that everybody know about that groom is going for the wedding . After that, the bride and her family greet the groom, and the couple exchanges floral garlands to wear around their necks to symbolize their acceptance of each other for life long and everybody shower their blessing to the wedding couple. 
The main part of wedding takes place in the night (taaro ki chhao) at 3 o'clock For the ceremony, the priest, bride , groom and bride's parents , guests and relatives sit beneath a mandap (four pillars decorated by flowers and light) The ceremony starts off with the kanya daan, in which the bride's parents give her away. Then the couple joins hands and circles around a small, enclosed fire (the agni) in a ritual called the saath phere. (in each and every round both makes promise to support each other and live happily together for life time) and the last part of wedding , the groom will apply a red powder(sindoor)to the center of the bride's forehead and tie a black beaded necklace(manglasutra) around her neck, symbolizing she's now a married woman.
Last part is vidaai bride have to leave her parents house and go to his husband's house.
This is the way we hindus celebrates the wedding.
