This past spring I was given the opportunity to photograph for Pure Michigan, Michigan’s tourism campaign. I was in Traverse County which is known as the Cherry Capital of the United States. Nearby was the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park known for it’s majestic sand dunes, standing as high as 500 feet with a view of the Caribbean-blue waters of Lake Michigan. Words cannot describe the beauty and spirituality of the Grand Traverse Bay area. If you ever have the chance, I highly recommend it as a travel destination.
