Well, it might not be the real thing but his heart was in the right place and the photos compensate.
My children and their father love to hike different parts of the Drakensburgh in South Africa at least twice a year. It is usually a very challenging 4-7day trail but as a reward they experience the most breath taking scenery.
Unfortunately for me I have been struggling with my health a bit. Due to this I am unable to be part of these exciting expeditions of theirs.
My oldest son always takes the most exquisite photos of their serene surroundings and never forgets to bring his mother a virtual bunch of flowers (photos of them).
Remember in the wilderness: Take only pictures and Leave only footprints
>The King Protea is South Africa’s National flower. There are about 200 species of the protea family. These beautiful flowers grow as shrubs and you can even find them on 35m tall trees. This plant can survive under the hardest conditions even grass fires. After a fire the plants resprout from their underground rootstock, and from buds under the bark at the end of the old stems. The new plants which grows after a fire are healthy and disease free.
