Serving the Steemit Nigeria community has been a great honour.
Without any doubt, the use of the Nigeria tag (#nigeria) by Nigerians has increased and also the community is growing. Nigerians on steemit now know themselves better and are able to interact with one another.
Why the #nigeria tag
After few weeks of using the #nigeria tag, curating Nigerian posts has been really easy. Furthermore, using the #nigeria tag has helped unite the community. Using the tag ha also made it easier for other steemians to view posts by Nigerians.
Encouraging The Use Of The #nigeria Tag
Increase in the Nigeria community is a sign of growth and one way to be sure of growth is by seeing more Nigerian steemian using the #nigeria tag.
Using the #nigeria Tag alone isn't enough
Collecting unendingly without giving is not a good thing at all. A lot of Nigerian posts are not read and upvoted by fellow Nigerian steemians.

The Nigerian curator can vote your works but they can not help you vote others. The exciting about voting other peoples post is you are rewarded in SP. You can start investing and building steem power by voting other peoples' work.
Your vote means a lot to the community. As a community, we need to learn to read and vote on posts written by Nigerians. This, in turn, will build the #nigeria tag more visible and also the most visited tag putting #nigeria as one of the top tags.
Upvoting fellow Nigerian post is more profitable to the steemians as your vote gets you SP and you receiving a vote from another person will increase your rewards.
Encouraging good writing
There's been positive response towards posting good contents by Nigerians on the #nigeria tag, but I want to appeal to Nigerians to post more creative and original contents. The contents could be topics from tags such as food, health, poem/poetry, education, philosophy, science, nature and others. You can post daily personal experiences.
Together let's grow our community, together let's grow steemit. Do not forget you are part of my community and i am part of yours.
