There are three things I will like to talk about and those things are drawn out from just this story:
The Story
I wondered what could be going on as I watched her run to kneel for the pastor, I was dumbfounded where I stood because I never imagined that she could be as humble as that, how could she be so arrogant to her husband and everyone around and then become humble to a man she calls her pastor.
First Thought
And then I started to think, this is really the problem that most people have, we see one particular person has been superior to the other, I am not disputing the fact that there are different categories and different levels of life, but the fact that you are not where someone else is, does not make you a nonentity and then the other person a god.
The most annoying part was the way the man she was kneeling down for, walked past her as though no one was there, I was wondering if it was not this same woman that treats her husband like a trash, ordering him around, shouting at him in public places and telling him to his face that he has no significance, who was now obviously worshiping another man here because she thinks he is superior.
Second Thought.
I think the reason why we have people who treat others like trash is that some of us have given them the opportunity to treat us that way, we have made them feel that we are nothing without them and that our lives are totally dependent on them.
The moment you begin to stand up for yourself and tell yourself that the fact that you have not attained a particular position in life does not make you an idiot, then you have started to make a headway.
Third Thought.
if I will be permitted to analyze The husband of this woman I was trying to describe above, I will say he has no plan for his life and that is what has given the wife the guarantee to treat him like a piece of trash, If he had goals and ambitions, he will not allow a woman to feed him and then talk to him as she pleases, if she saw him as a man who had goals, she will never disrespect him or even have the courage to treat him like that.
Since it seems, the man is one of those few men who will prefer to be ordered around rather than make a living for themselves, then he obviously deserves any treatment he gets. If that will make him get on his feet and start working, but it looks as if the insult and disrespect do not move him at all in anyway, as he constantly runs around like the errand boy.
I am not trying to criticize anything, I am just letting out my opinion.
