Chester Bennington, beloved frontman of Linkin Park, was found dead this morning.
At 8:56 a.m., local police responded to an address 2800 block of Via Vittoria in Palos Verdes Estates in L.A. County, where they found the world famous singer, apparently the victim of suicide. Mr. Bennington was known to be close to Chris Cornell, the recently deceased Soundgarden frontman, also a victim of hanging. Today, 7/20, was Chris's birthday. No evidence or information as to motive has been released and no literal connections have been drawn between the two deaths. The county coroner's office is investigating.
More as it develops.
Linkin Park meant a lot to a young white boy who loved to rap, and still does. Rest in Peace Friend. There is a special heaven for souls like yours.
