I got these few bits before I went on holiday and just found them again, there is one piece of silver and a two dollar bill.
I will start off with the double florin, which I have used my macro lense for the photographs.
1887 double florin
Metal 0.925 silver
Weight 22.62 grams
Mintage 483,347
These coins where the original 20 pence coin, it was the first attempt at decimilisation and othen mistaken for a crown and gained the nick name the bar maids ruin as the double florin was worth 5 pence less than a crown. The coin features the Jubilee portrait of Queen Victoria on the obverse and on the Reverse it has the coat of arms divided by sceptres.
Next is a two dollar bill from 1953, it is an A series and features Thomas Jefferson who was the 3rd US president, it is been creased but it doesn't bother me as I think it is cool.
