The Starfish Story! : A Children's Story with a great moral.

A very powerful storm almost destroy a small city from the sea side. It was announced on the radio to be a very powerful storm and a lot of warnings have been issued. The residents of the city took a lot of safety measures, but the storm was stronger that initially predicted.
Right after the storm passed a small boy and his grandfather went out for a walk.
It was announced by the local television that now its safe to go out!
The little boy was really surprised to see so many falling trees and so many gardens destroyed and was talking with his grandfather how powerful the nature can be, when something grab their attention. Everybody was rushing to the beach so they decide to go as well to see what's happening.

Both got really shocked to see the beach full of starfishes. The grandfather told his nephew:
-I never sow something like this in my entire life and i live long and seen a lot!
-But what happen to them? the little boy replayed...
The grandfather looking at the beach replayed:
-Most probably the starfishes have been trow to the beach by the sea during the storm and now it's impossible for them to get back. If they will stay longer like this they will die... and there are so many. To bad, to bad!
Right away to little boy went in the middle of the starfishes and took one in hand.

-What are you doing? everybody was asking.
-I am going to bring them back to the sea otherwise they will die.
-But there are so many! Do you think it will count if you will save few? the grandfather asked the little boy.

-It will make for this one, and for this one, and for this one!
The little boy stared to trow the starfishes back in to the sea, one by one. Seeing this a girl joined our brave hero and start helping him. Now both of them were trowing starfishes back to the sea. Soon a new kid join them and after a while another one till all the people slowly slowly join them and like this together they did manage to save all the starfishes!

The Moral: We often think we are too insignificant or too unimportant to make a difference. One is not born into the world to do everything but to do something. Every single one of us can make a difference!
