Stepped out thinking I’d just get a light walk in, but the morning had other plans. The air felt too good to keep it slow, so after a few minutes of walking I slipped into a jog, then paused for some stretches at the usual spot. Nothing structured, just whatever felt right in the moment.
Ended up mixing in a few short runs too… kind of one of those sessions where you don’t really watch the clock. By the time I wrapped up and checked, I was somewhere around 17,000 steps.
I like these unplanned mornings more than the strict ones. You move how your body wants, and somehow it adds up without forcing it.
