I didn’t even notice how far I’d gone until I saw the same street dog again… that’s when it hit me I’d done a full loop and then some 😅
It started as a lazy walk, just needed a break from sitting around. No plan, no route. But once I got into it, I kept extending—“okay, just till that corner”… then another… and another.
At some point my legs were like “that’s enough”, but my head wasn’t ready to head back yet. So I just kept a steady pace and let the thoughts wander.
Checked my steps later and saw 22,000. Didn’t feel like a workout, just felt like time well spent.
Maybe that’s the trick… when it doesn’t feel forced, you end up doing more anyway.
